Our 8 week outreach started on June 16, 2002. We have spent the first two weeks team building and training with urban ministry. Then on July 1 (EARLY - 7am) we will be flying to Grenada. We will return home late (10:13pm) on August 6, 2002.

PRAYERS!
I need support through your prayers during preparations for this trip and especially while I am gone. This is a very important part of our mission, so if you are willing to be part of our team as a prayer partner, please write to let me know. You can write to my special lenlindsay@truthmail.com address now and while I am on the trip. I don't think I'll have access to EMail while I am there, but you never know!

I hope that I can find a group of people who are willing to pray for me on a daily basis while I am gone. If you would like to support me in this way, but aren't sure how, don't worry, God will help you! True! Just find some quiet time each day and ask God if there is anything on his heart that you can pray for concerning my outreach to Grenada, then wait to hear from Him. If He does not have anything specific for that day, please pray that our team may have an impact on the local ministry and that he would prepare our hearts to serve him. Also pray for my health and safety and His protection from any evil.

FINANCES
I also am praying for God to provide the finances that I need for this trip. I will not be using any of my normal income for this trip and trust that He will provide if this trip is part of His plan. In case you are not familiar with YWAM, they do not pay anyone (not even the director of their Madison base) and they expect each of us to cover all costs for this trip, which will be about $25 per day plus the travel costs. I think it most important to have your support in prayer, however if you pray and feel it in your heart to contribute financial support, it should be sent to YWAM-Madison with a note that it is for the summer outreach to Grenada for Len Lindsay (if you'd like it to be an anonymous donation towards my costs, just include a note asking for them to also keep it anonymous). Please note that while donations to YWAM staff are tax deductible, since I am not on their staff, donations towards the costs of my portion of the mission outreach is not tax deductible (but also consider if a tax deduction is your focus anyway).
